Langham Guest Artist Series presents HEY COVID, MEET CROMOLI by LUCAS MYERS – 3 Shows – Nov 20, 21 and 22 at 7pm

 

 

Facing our unprecedented times the best way they know how, with a grin and a tune, the Cromoli Brothers will perform their unique brand of Vaudeville, featuring 12 vignettes that range from the poignant to the political to the absurd and feature original music performed on ukulele, glockenspiel and melodica.

 

Including Cromoli Classics like Nude Beach, Cover Song, Dear Mary I’m in a Gang Now, Pilot Talk, and Shot in the Dark, the show will also feature fresh COVID specific material because, hey, if we can’t laugh at this insane situation, well, we may as well give up.   With the audience choosing the order of the vignettes, each show is a unique, not to be missed experience.

The Cromoli Brothers provide a perfect vehicle to display the performing talents of Lucas Myers, whose comedic timing, sharp songwriting and pointed social commentary paired with straight up absurdity has been enjoyed by Kaslo audiences for the past 15 years in such shows as DECK, HELLO BABY, CAMPGROUND and, most recently, A Beginner’s Guide to Kaslovia.

He is delighted to have the opportunity to bust out of his 8 month COVID induced performance hiatus with this show at the Langham, as it is one of his favourite places to perform!
